Cold Infusion Directions

 

  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of tea to a quart-sized jar.

  • Fill with cold, filtered water.

  • Cover and steep in the refrigerator for 4–8 hours (or overnight).

  • Strain and enjoy chilled.

 

Optional: Add fresh lemon slices or a touch of raw honey if desired.

  • This tea is best made as a cold long infusion! 

     

    Use 1-2 tablespoons on tea per 8 oz of water. 

     

    • Add Tea to a Jar or Pitcher:

    • Use a clean container. You can use a French press, mason jar, or a cold brew tea bottle with a strainer.

      • Add the appropriate amount of tea. For stronger tea, use more leaves.

    • Pour cold or room temperature filtered water over the tea.

    • Place in the refrigerator and let it steep for 6 to 12 hours.

    • Strain and serve. 

      • Serve over ice. You can sweeten or add lemon/mint if desired.
